Attaching NFTs

You can add NFT (Non-Fungible Token) to your World, which is displayed as a picture frame.
All image and gif formats supported in OpenSea are also supported by VRTown in form of photo frames. NFT in video or audio format is not currently supported. The NFTs also have 3D renders, like VRtown wearables, displayed in the frame as a 2D image.
NFT in the user's wallet The easiest way to import the NFT you own is to open the Collections tab on the right menu. There you will see a list of all valid NFTs available in the wallet you are currently using. Just drag an NFT into your World, then you can move or scale and treat it like any other item. Note: The limitation of this method is that you can only add NFTs that you own, and you cannot configure the frame's properties, such as frame style/ background color.
NFT by ID A more robust approach is to use the NFT smart item that you can find in the Content Library or just search for NFT in the search bar above. After you drag a copy of the NFT item to your World and select it, there are several fields that you can configure.
• The main fields to configure that define NFT should display: - NFT ID: The unique ID of this particular NFT - NFT Contract: The contractual address of the collection to which this NFT belongs (E.g.: Cryptokitties, SuperRare, Bored Ape Yacht Club, etc.) To get these, the easiest way is to look them up on OpenSea and then test the URL. For example, from the URL of the following item: https://opensea.io/assets/0xbc4ca0eda7647a8ab7c2061c2e118a18a936f13d/7029. You can infer that (i) the contract is 0xbc4ca0eda7647a8ab7c2061c2e118a18a936f13d and (ii) the ID is 7029.
Other option fields that can be configured in the user interface (UI): - Frame style: The default frame style with a glowing margin may not match the style of your artwork or scene. There are a number of other options to choose from, ranging from complex to minimalistic, or even editing the edges of the picture. - Background color: NFTs with a transparent background have a purple background color by default. You can choose any other color. Note that some frame styles like "None", do not include the background color at all. - Include UI: When players click on a photo frame, they will see a UI with additional information about the NFT, including its creator, description, sales info, and a link to buy it. A hinted text appears on the screen when pointing at the image, which some may distract from the artistry of the NFT work. Turn off the UI to remove hint text. - Extra UI Text: The UI extracts most of its data from external sources, but allows to add a field so you can add a custom description. This text is only visible to the player if "Include UI" is enabled. Note: You can only able to see these changes in effect when entering World in "Preview" mode.
